The Dieppe International Festival of Kites surely must be one of the most unique summer events in Atlantic Canada.

Dieppe in New Brunswick, Canada and its sister city, Dieppe in France, alternate hosting the Festival International de Cerf-Volant de Dieppe!

This great event appeals to all ages who are awed by the beauty and complexity of the kites. This year theme is "Mardi Gras in the sky". A quick check of the website indicates registrants from countries near and far including Australia, South Africa and Tasmania
