Southeast New Brunswick Real Estate Market Report - August 2007

August residential unit sales slow to a modest increase of 8% over August 2006.

  • The area covered by the Greater Moncton Real Estate Board continues to be the most active real estate market in New Brunswick.
  • In the overall area year to date, residential unit sales are up 12% over 2006 with Moncton and Dieppe leading the way at 23% and 21% respectively.
  • Moncton and Dieppe account for 37% of all residential unit sales year to date in the area.
  • Active residential listings at the end of August 2007 were identical to August of 2006.
