Open House

Has the world wide web impacted the traditional Sunday open house for today's house shopper?

Has the digital revolution with multiple images, virtual tours and video clips made open houses redundant?

The vast majority of buyers in the market for real estate today have access to the internet. And a majority of those buyers have high speed connections delivering fast access to high definition images and video.

However not all REALTORS have incorporated the technology into their real estate marketing plans. I have. So I don't waste my Seller client's time [or my own] holding an open house for no real purpose other than providing a meet and greet for the merely curious.

I find that if someone is truly in the market, they will make an appointment for a private inspection of a property that interests them.
