Moncton Housing Starts Impressive

2007 Housing Starts in the Moncton CMA, Saint John CMA, and the Fredericton CA

  • Accounting for over 50% of combined housing starts, Moncton leads Saint John and Fredericton.

  • Single family starts were up from 2006 in all three areas and multiple starts were down with the exception of Saint John.

  • In all New Brunswick's urban centers with populations over 10,000, housing starts of all types were up 4.5% from 2006.
