Labour Day 2008 Real Estate Market Report

The Labour Day weekend is here and two thirds of 2008 is now past.

The real estate market in the metro Moncton area can best be described as balanced and stable.

Realistically priced properties are selling and buyers have choices in a wide range of prices.

  • Unit sales are down 5% from the record high in 2007 and new listings processed year to date are almost identical to 2007.
  • The sales to listings ratio remains historically strong in the 61% range.
