Metro Moncton real estate market is not like the stock market ...

Our local real estate market is stable. I've researched and prepared the table below to show residential MLS® sales in the metro area including only properties located in the City of Moncton, the City of Dieppe and the Town of Riverview. Yes, the number of sales is down ever so slightly over last year. And the average sale price was a little lower in the third quarter of this year compared to last year.

So how will the real estate market fare in the last quarter of this year? Stop back in early November to read October's figures. Or subscribe to my blog at the top of the column on the right  and you will be notified by email as soon as I post the results.

By the way, it's a good time to buy real estate in the metro Moncton area. Your principal residence is still the best income tax free investment you can make.
