Moncton CMA New Housing Starts 2010 - 1st Quarter

Total housing starts in the Moncton CMA and the Fredericton CA are off to a strong pace in 2010, fueled mainly by a rise in multiple unit starts.  However total starts in the Saint John CMA are at their lowest level in recent years.

Here are three charts I prepared to illustrate the first quarter numbers supplied by the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation for the the Fredericton CA,  the Moncton CMA and the Saint John CMA.
