The word is getting out about housing in our little corner of Atlantic Canada. The Moncton Census Metropolitan Area area was awarded one of only two A's in all of Canada for Best Deals in Real Estate .

Housing in the Metro Moncton market (Moncton - Dieppe - Riverview) is indeed affordable. People from far and near are moving to the Southeast New Brunswick area for affordable housing and the quality of life.

As I've reported here before, new housing sales make up 25% (that's one in four) of all residential MLS® sales in the Metro Moncton market. The average sale price in the Metro Moncton market is running around the $170,000 mark so far this year.
