It's July first, Canada Day, so I've gathered the numbers from the reported residential MLS® sales in the City of Moncton for the first six months of 2010.

Year to date unit sales of existing and new construction housing are up from 2009 but not yet at 2008 levels. YTD sales of new construction are close to 2008 levels. 

I'm not sure why June 2010 existing Moncton housing sales were off so much from May and compared to the two previous Junes. I don't believe it could be due to a lack of inventory of existing housing for sale, but it is possible. In the City of Moncton there are currently over 430 listings of exisiting housing on the MLS®.
