Moncton CMA Housing Starts Trend Downward

2011 total housing starts in the Moncton CMA are off to a slow start to the end of May 2011. My graphs below illustrate the numbers supplied by the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation for the Fredericton CA, the Moncton CMA and the Saint John CMA for the last five years. As you can see housing starts in the two other major New Brunswick population centers are off as well.

The Moncton CMA does lead the Province in the multiple starts category with over two thirds of the multiple starts year to date.
