So I can understand your comment. One of the major difference between American and Canadian real estate markets is the Canadian banking and mortgage regimes. It's more about good management than good luck.

Comment on 2010 Housing Bubble Talk is Nonsense in Moncton Area

And so said the same people about America and the world in 2007. And 2008. And 2009.

Trust me. It will NOT happen HERE. Many former Atlantic Canadians are cashing out of their overheated housing markets and moving back to the east coast.

Comment on 2010 Housing Bubble Talk is Nonsense in Moncton Area

Hi Larry, I agree with you. Even in our overheated Mississauga and Toronto marketplace, there are many fundamentals that are solid and indicate that prices will stay strong.
I wish you on the east coast all the best in 2010!
Mark

Comment on 2010 Housing Bubble Talk is Nonsense in Moncton Area

Hi Larry,
Happy, Happy New Year. Yes, I agree 100% with your dignoses of our housing market. We are fortunate to live an area of little market fluctuations. Thus, affording us no bubble to burst. I believe Mocton, Fredericton and Saint John will experience a very favourable consistant market throughout 2010. What great news for our New Year. Only success and prosperity. Cheers, Phil.

Comment on October Residential Sales for Metro Moncton

Hi Larry,
I do love your graghs. Your market is quite parallel to Fredericton. Our year over year stats are about 1% to 2% more than last September/October.
It does look like the driving force for such good production is still the low interest rates. The rate certainly seems to be steering the positive market trend. Economists should be looking at this and leaving rates down as long as they continue to produce such favourable results.

Comment on Metro Moncton real estate sales in September

It looks like a changing more active market is on the horizon.
